External Perimeter Spray
(General Crawling Insect Spray)
An outside spray applied to the house, alfresco area, garage, carport, driveway, shed, fences, footpaths, bins and letterbox.
-
It is designed to protect your home from crawling insects entering inside. A ‘poison’ label chemical is generally used outside and we take precautions to make sure animals and aquatic life are safe from the spray.
Any pests sprayed directly on the day will perish within a half hour. While anything crawling over the dried treated surface, will take a couple of days to work through the pests system before it perishes.
-
This spray works effectively for up to 6 months and then slowly loses its efficacy from then onwards.
Most customers book in a respray at the 9 month mark for best coverage.
The spray is no longer effective after 12 months.
Customers who have this spray yearly notice a cumulative effect over the years, saying they see a great reduction of crawling insects around their home.
Inside Spray
(General Crawling Insect Spray)
A fine particle spray for inside the home or premises, applied to skirtings, flooring, walls and ceilings.
-
The spray is applied methodically to ensure adequate coverage without over spraying surfaces throughout your home. We exclude spraying the cornices above your kitchen, beds, bathroom, shower and sinks.
We also spray air-con vents, under certain furnishings such as beds, sofas, fridges, dishwashers, washing machines and dryers. Making sure we cover all the hidey holes the creepy crawlies could be hiding in.
The spray is designed to protect your home from the crawling insects already residing inside. We only use a ‘caution’ label chemical inside your home. This means it’s no more harmful to you than the sprays you’d commonly find under your kitchen sink.
Any pests sprayed directly on the day will perish within half an hour. While anything crawling over the dried treated surface will take effect within 1 to 2 days.

This could be a series of treatments depending on the type of cockroach species or pest identified. As some may need to be treated more than once to eradicate them entirely. This is due to the pests biology and the way the treatments work.
For instance, different cockroach species breed at different rates depending on the environmental conditions. Knowing this, we advise immediate treatment and sometimes schedule revisits to make sure all stages of the lifecycle of the cockroach are fully treated.
This is why inspection and identification of the species to be targeted is key. We need to make sure we treat all the areas they could be hiding, some areas are not so obvious if you don’t know what to look for.
Please take several clear photos of the pest and the area it was found if you can. Then give us a call to have a chat so we can help identify the pest for you. We will commonly ask you to send through any photos of the pest you have so we can advise you on the best steps you can take before we even inspect your property as well as starting a treatment plan for you.
-
This is dependent on the treatment and can be discussed with you at time of booking.

We inspect and identify the type of ant before we perform the spray. This is key to having the best outcome from your ant spray.

Pest Specific Spray
(Internal)
This is a targeted spray and is dependent on the pest being treated. We inspect the site and surrounds for the infestation level and to identify the species. Then the correct application method and area can be treated.
-
We must inspect and identify the type of ant before we perform the spray. This is key to having the best outcome from your ant spray.
The technician will choose the chemical spray dependent on the species of ant found on site.
If the incorrect chemical is chosen for a small species of ant, it will kill the ants too quickly. Only killing the ants that come in contact with it will not allow a transfer of the chemical to the rest of the colony and will leave the queen alive to continue making new ants.
If the incorrect spray is chosen for a large resistant species of ant, it won’t kill them at all.
If the correct chemical is chosen for the targeted ant species, then not only will it kill the ants it comes in contact with, it will also be transferred to the queen ant. In this case they will stay alive long enough to pass other workers and soldiers, transferring a lethal dose to those they encounter. This ensure an effective eradication of the colony and its queens.
