Pantry moths will typically be found in dry food storage areas, commercial flour mixers and machines, on or under prep areas, benches and food packaging.

Pantry moths will continue to breed unless they are properly dealt with. They can continue to contaminate and infest dry food goods with their eggs, webs, cocoons and droppings.
The larvae spin silken webs constantly which can increase the moisture in dry storage goods causing them to spoil faster.
-
Pantry moths can lay several hundred eggs at a time which hatch 3-5 days later. Larvae (their most destructive phase) can last up to 40 days. Overall the lifecycle of a pantry moth is up to 65 days.
-
The best way to get pantry moths under control yourself is to throw out infested food and ensure all dry items are stored in air tight containers from the second they are brought home.
